To ancient visitors from the north surmounting the sinuous Appenine ridge, the Garfagnana would have seemed an incredibly green basin surmounted by the splendid profile of the Apuan Alps. It was certainly not without apprehension that they would enter that "land of wolves and brigands", as described more than once by Ariosto.
 A valley enclosed between mountains, not on the main commercial routes, but traversed constantly by pilgrims, the Garfagnana has not suffered radical transformation during the passage of history, but has arrived at our time with the beauty of its mountains intact, where the wolf and the eagle have chosen to return, where its pure waters have forged in the marble one of the most important underground Karst complexes in the world, spectacular giant potholes and deep gorges.
To complement the tranquillity offered by the villages and towns of the Garfagnana, its tasty local cuisine and the hospitality of its agri-tourism, APIANS wants to promote a tourism which offers exciting and fascinating out of the ordinary experiences , not usually possible to enjoy without adequate organisation, but which represent the true nature of this land. |

“Incammino attraversoil Bo-Yul, il “Paese Nascosto”, un groviglio di profonde
valli al confine tra Nepal eTibet. Un lungo percorso tra aride esperdute vallate,
superando passi ad oltre 5000 metri di quota. L’ incontro con un Lama trasforma
il viaggio in pellegrinaggio, in una sorta di cammino spirituale tra antichissimi
monasteri Bon-Po ed una cultura millenaria ormai in decadenza. Un’ esperienza
che aprirà le porte ad una ricerca interiore altrove impossibile”.

Il Paese del Drago Tonante
Il Bhutan si trova tra le montagne dell’Himalaya orientale a Nord confina con il Tibet ed a Sud con l’India.
Avvolto nel mito e protetto da secoli d'isolamento, il Bhutan è ancora oggi è uno dei luoghi al mondo meno influenzati dalla cultura occidentale.
Le tradizioni del passato sono tenute in gran conto dagli abitanti, così come l’attaccamento alla natura che è oggetto di grande rispetto, poche altre nazioni al mondo possono vantare la stessa biodiversità e ancora meno si sono mosse con uguale impegno per conservare questo patrimonio naturale con l’istituzione di parchi nazionali ( 26,23% del territorio) e corridoi biologici (9% del paese).
